My journey of being unstoppable started as a 12-year-old creative girl from Kolkata, India when I met Mother Teresa during the Gulf War and dreamt of changing the world!
After 30 years, I am a Gold Medalist Smart City Designer, a Commonwealth Scholar from University College London, a Design Thinker (MIT-Sloan 2018), a City Design practitioner in an ex-Fortune 500 MNC, a globally certified leadership coach, and the only woman in the Executive Committee of the Board of the ICF Delhi Charter Chapter.
I designed my second career unlinked to my educational background as the founder of Dezinecareers Global Private Ltd in Gurgaon, India. Till 2016, I worked on making future-ready smart cities for India and other Asian nations and now, through Dezinecareers, I design future-ready smart leaders from India and the world.
My expertize has developed from the real experience I had while working for 16 years in India, the United Kingdom and South East Asia in various public, private, MSME and NYSE-listed fortune 500 organizations
A designer by practice & training for more than two decades and a design thinker ; I am an expert in taking data and dreams to real development; from ‘knowing to doing’ be it for branding cities that lead the world or the executives or executives who lead corporations.
I live in Gurgaon and belong to the world.

Our Sounding Board
Arunava Sarkar
An urbanist to the core, Arunava keenly researches on the Knowledge economy as a developmental model and seeks its expression through various professional associations. Arunava is a member of the International Society of City and Regional Planners, Hague, American Planning Association- Chicago, Architectural Association-London and Institute of Urban Designers –India. Arunava is an enthusiastic educator associated with Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi as a course tutor. He was a recipient of the UNESCO-ISOCaRP Young Planner, 2005 award and is a Commonwealth Scholar. Arunava is a double gold medalist having graduated from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and holds postgraduate qualifications from SPA, New Delhi and Architectural Assoc, London. He lives and works in India and Dubai.
Susheela Verma
Susheela Varma is a seasoned urban planner and architect with over two decades of experience. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from CET and a Master’s in City Planning from IIT Kharagpur. Susheela has contributed to major projects like the Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor and Smart Cities Mission.
Her roles at DHV Royal Haskoning, AECOM, and Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Limited have showcased her expertise in strategic urban planning and project management. Currently, as an Independent Research Consultant, she provides market insights based on demographic and socio-economic data, driving sustainable urban development in India.
Saon Bhattacharya
Saon Bhattacharya is a business editor and writer based out of Kolkata, India, and Seoul, South Korea. With an MPhil in English Literature from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, Saon helps people and businesses communicate better.
She began her career in the media and publishing industry nearly 30 years ago, before going on to marketing communication roles across sectors as diverse as real estate, urban design, development and infrastructure, sustainability, retail, social development and education. Some of her writings have been published in business as well as literary journals and blogs. In short, she plays with the written word in all its avatars.
